➤ Tiffany, most any Kate Spade, Carrera men’s CA7474. The colors, shapes and fitting quality are the reason for the most sales. Mike McElwee, Krzyzak Eyecare & Eyewear Unlimited, Liverpool, NY
➤ McGee’s Vera Bradley line sells quickly in our office. The metallic colors are super hot! Nike suns sell well, the swoosh sells itself. Cara Carr, Marshfield Eye Clinic, Marshfield, MO We sell Charmant really well. We are mainly a medical office, so we sell a lot of post-op glasses. Those patients really like Charmant because they are titanium, which makes them durable and more lightweight. Ashlie Dorminey, Optical Associates, Valdosta, GA
➤ Ogi and Seraphin. Always on trend and priced great! Kim Griggs, Eye Designs, New Albany, OH
➤ Our top-selling line in November was ic!berlin. Clean and modern looks appeal to the slightly more conservative and affluent clientele among the “K Street Elite” in DC. Our top selling frame was the Cassady by Barton Perreira. Its soft, feminine shape highlighted with rich, delicate colors is a great primary pair choice for many of our female patients. Our Face à Face sunglasses have really been doing well. Despite the generally more conservative environments of our patients’ workplaces, they seem drawn to the edgier designs. We try to encourage our patients to have fun with their sunglasses or second pairs, and they usually are on board. Andrew Dias, Klessman & Rosenblatt O.D., Washington, DC
➤ Ray-Ban from Luxottica for both men and women continue to be hot sellers. Öga from Morel for men are also very popular, and for women, Silhouette has definitely become a top seller. Susan Kantor, Central Phoenix Eyecare, Phoenix, AZ
➤ DVF’s 5049 in the brown and white temple was the holy grail of frames for us in 2015. In sunglasses, the Article One Dr. Congo is amazing. Chunky, bold and a new classic. Dr. Blake Hutto, Family Vision Care, Alma, GA
Vinylize is our newest hot item, style Jackson in black. (They are all black since they are laminated with old vinyl records.) They sell well because of how unique they are. Dr. Dave Schultz, Urban Optics, San Luis Obispo, CA
➤ Modo has been doing really well for us. We had them at our trunk show early in the month. They are high-quality frames at a great price point. Dr. Theodore Sees, Rockford Family Eye Care, Rockford, MI
➤ ProDesign Denmark: We saw a lot of “my kid didn’t pass their school screening exams” and ProDesign has some great fits for preteens and teens at a good price. Oliver Peoples: People are wanting to go more and more retro, and OP provides! Jenna Gilbertson, McCulley Optix Gallery, Fargo, ND
➤ Safilo Jimmy Choo Maggie in color W541C. The color is so unique but still everyday! At quick glance, it looks like a black frame but as you look closely, it is a deep, clear teal. Very unique but wearable. The women loved it this month. Cassie Lucy, Pearle Vision, West St. Paul, MN
➤ In sunglasses, Prada, Ray-Ban, Oakley and Maui Jim. People are planning travel, and need good polarized eyewear. Claudia Hecht, Sterling Optical, Newburgh, NY
