MORRIS PLAINS, NJ – Charmant USA recently welcomed Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen to its corporate offices in New Jersey.
Frelinghuysen is serving his eleventh term as the representative for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District which includes communities in Morris, Sussex, Passaic and Essex counties. He serves as the state’s senior member of the House Appropriations Committee and also sits on three key appropriations subcommittees: Energy and Water Development, Homeland Security and Defense.
After meeting the executive team upon his arrival, Frelinghuysen was then shown a video on the company’s manufacturing at its headquarters in Japan. In the product showroom, he was shown Charmant’s ladies collection Line Art and the newly launched bio-based collection AWEAR.
During his tour of the office, the congressman introduced himself to all and was eager to learn about Charmant and its employees. Frelinghuysen is known for championing the work being done at New Jersey’s military installations. The supervisor of the distribution center, Sandra Montoya, took the opportunity to inform him that her son, Diego Munoz, had just completed boot camp and would be stationed in Pensacola, FL by the end of the month. The congressman expressed great appreciation to Montoya for her son’s service. At the end of the one-hour visit, all gathered in the lobby for a Q&A with the congressman and a group photo.
