Sports sunglasses firm CTRL Eyewear is seeking Indiegogo funding for its CTRL XC product, a full-frame version of its high-tech sports eyewear, Cycling Weekly reports. The sunglasses, billed as "the world's fastest tint-changing glasses", use a lens-tinting technology that reacts to changing light conditions in one tenth of a second. a half-frame version already is in production. According to the article, the technology was developed for use by the U.S. Special Forces. The sunglasses have a 70-hour batter life and are charged with a USB cable.
