Luxottica is suing BCBG Max Azria over its famous Wayfarer sunglasses trademark, accusing the fashion house of knowingly infringing upon it, Reuters reports. The article cites the complaint that was filed on Wednesday with the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, which says that BCBG’s unauthorized sale of infringing eyewear was intended to confuse customers, damaging the Italian eyewear maker’s reputation. When Reuters reached out to BCBG, a spokeswoman said the company had no comment.
