Special Olympian Designs Sunglasses to Benefit UNICEF

Lucy Meyer has been designated Perverse Sunglasses first ICON girl.

Bustle reports that gold medal-winning Special Olympian Lucy Meyer has collaborated with Perverse Sunglasses on a sunglasses model whose sales benefit UNICEF, the children's rights organization for which she is a spokesperson. The article says Meyer, shown below, chose royal blue for the frames because it is UNICEF's color. Perverse has named Meyer its first ICON girl as part of the company's effort "to recognize those who do inspirational things and inspire others to do the same." Meyer, who has cerebral palsy, has won two Special Olympics gold medals in swimming. As a UNICEF spokesperson, she raises money and awareness for children with disabilities.
