(Press Release) CORAL SPRINGS, FL – ABB Optical Group is raising funds in support of World Sight Day by donating a portion of its Digital Eye Lab sales to Optometry Giving Sight.
Observed annually on the second Thursday of October, World Sight Day is an international day of awareness designed to focus global attention on blindness and vision impairment.
Optometry Giving Sight's 10th annual World Sight Day Challenge encourages members of the vision care community to make donations or participate in fundraising events in support of eye health projects. This year’s World Sight Day Challenge focuses on the need for effective, sustainable eye health initiatives for children and adolescents.
A World Sight Day Challenge coalition member, ABB Optical Group will donate 1 percent of all Digital Eye Lab sales during its six-week fundraising campaign. ABB Optical Group is a distributor of optical products.
