Vision Source Named Among Winners of 29th Annual CIO 100 Awards

KINGWOOD, TEXAS – Vision Source, a network of independent optometrists, was recently honored among the winners for the 29th annual CIO 100 Awards.

More than 500 nominations were received for the 2016 CIO 100 Awards, which recognize companies who demonstrate flexibility, commitment and advancement. Under the guidance of Satish Dave, senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO), Vision Source has strived to create business value through the innovative application of technology.

Vision Source provides a variety resources to a network of more than 4,200 optometrists. Vision Source Insight was launched in 2016 and aims to provide a secure, virtual community that enables collaboration and sharing of best practices across a network of optometrists who treat more than 14 million patients each year. In addition to this product launch, Vision Source has deployed various solutions that leverage business intelligence and CRM technologies to deliver analytic data that supports clinicians and helps local leaders efficiently manage network operations.

Winners of the 2016 CIO 100 Awards will be honored at the CIO 100 Symposium gala awards dinner and ceremony, being held Aug. 14-16 at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
