MYTH: TRANSITIONS LENSES NEVER GET CLEAR

Transitions® Signature® VII lenses are fully clear indoors, and are made with Chromea7 TM technology to reduce the effects of temperature on tint intensity. These lenses are great for patients who are always going from inside to outside and back.

MYTH: TRANSITIONS LENSES DON’T WORK IN THE CAR

For those who spend a lot of time in the car or outside, Transitions® XTRActive® lenses get dark behind the windshield because they react to visible light, then get even darker in direct sunlight. Transitions XTRActive lenses are the darkest Transitions lenses available and are made to be extra dark, even in high temperatures. This ideal for light-sensitive patients because they have a hint of tint indoors, helping to protect eyes from harsh indoor lighting, while remaining aesthetically pleasing.

MYTH: YOUNG PEOPLE DON’T WANT TO WEAR TRANSITIONS LENSES

After young eyeglass wearers (20-29 years old) are given information about Transitions lenses and shown a product demonstration, 71% are likely or very likely to purchase the product. Show your young patients how Transitions lenses look and let them make an informed decision.
