We can’t be all things to all people.” When it comes to his patients, he “can never get enough of that moment when a patient first puts on that new pair of glasses, seeing themselves and their new look, and gazing out our windows and remarking at how much better their vision is.” It may be why sometimes he has a hard time leaving it at the office. “Taking a step back … is always a struggle but I just remember that my team are rockstars and can 100% run the show amazingly without me.” When it is time to relax, nothing beats taking his dog Watson for a long walk. “No music or podcasts…just a great chance to release everything from the day. I also really enjoy relaxing on our back deck with my better half, especially when the days are long and the weather is nice.”
