For Heather Harrington joy is something you build on purpose. Whether she’s delivering handmade December treats, supporting practices on branding, marketing, and inventory strategy, or scouting the next big frame trend, Heather brings an energy that is equal parts heart, hustle, and curiosity. After 12 years in the optical industry, she’s learned that while the big wins light her up, it’s the small rituals that keep her steady. She stays grounded through creativity, adventure, and joyful hobbies. “What keeps me sane is leaning into the things that make me feel alive,” she says. “Movement, travel, gaming, cooking, creating — they refill my cup so I can show up fully for the people I serve.” Extensive travel is where she finds her center but when she’s home she’s paddleboarding with her dogs, exploring the beauty of Colorado, meal-prepping, or logging into a late-night gaming session to unwind. “I’ve learned how much my life outside optical shapes the way I show up inside it,” she says. “The more joy I create outside work, the more grounded and creative I am inside it.”
