(PRESS RELEASE) ORLANDO, FL — The American Academy of Optometry Foundation (AAOF), announces the 2020 David and Diane Goss Optometry History Fellowship recipient. Tiong Peng Yap, OD, PhD, FAAO, is a Private Practice Fellow at the IGARD Group in Singapore.

This fellowship provides support for an individual pursuing research in optometric history. His proposal topic on the history of optometric education in Singapore, was chosen out of five very competitive proposals. Dr. Yap will receive a $1,000 fellowship to further his research.
