(PRESS RELEASE) DALLAS, TX — AEG Vision, an owner and operator of leading optometry practices, announced that it has acquired Eyes of the World with two locations in Denver, CO. It’s AEG Vision’s second acquisition in two weeks.

“Dr. Channing Baird, the Doctors and staff at Eyes of the World are a welcome addition to AEG Vision,” said Eric Anderson, CEO of AEG Vision. “For over 20 years, Eyes of the World has offered a rich, unique patient experience built on a foundation of exceptional medical care.”

Eyes of the World and Drs. Channing Baird, Kathryn Lachenman, Rupa Patel and Rachel Knowlton have thrived within two historic Denver neighborhoods. The first location opened its doors in the Old South Gaylord District of Washington Park. The second location is found in Denver’s historic uptown area. Both practices offer comprehensive eye care alongside a curated selection of contemporary eyewear frame brands and contact lenses.

“A commitment to maintaining our unique atmosphere and culture was an absolute must in selecting a future partner,” said Baird. “AEG Vision put forth a plan which made it clear that they would do so. We look forward to a bright future with AEG Vision’s support.”

“Colorado is a dynamic region where patients can choose from a wide variety of optical practices,” said Joe Terzo, chief development officer. “AEG has successfully partnered with many different types of practices by consistently investing in their people and resources to make their unique practice models stronger. We look forward to partnering with more individuals like Dr. Baird who find unique ways to create a world-class patient experience.”
