3 NATIONAL TEACHER DAY is a terrific goodwill opportunity. Donate one of your nicer frames as a complete pair plus an exam and fitting to a teacher who has won a recent award. Alert the local media and then arrange a time for that teacher or coach to come to your store to receive their prize.

17 WORLD HYPERTENSION DAY. A chance to remind your clients to have their blood pressure and eyes checked regularly. High blood pressure is a leading cause of retinopathy, optic neuropathy and other vision disorders.
