The American Optometric Association is partnering on the development of a state-of-the art patient registry that will allow the organization’s 40,000 members to “collaborate on outcomes” for a variety of conditions affecting the eyes. AOA official Dr. Jeffrey Michaels calls the registry, under development by Connecticut-based Prometheus Research, “a huge opportunity for optometry and the millions of patients we serve every year.”
