(Press Release)
Bausch + Lomb recently sent the below letter regarding its Unilateral Pricing Policy (UPP) via email to optometrists.

Dear Eye Care Practitioner,

Bausch + Lomb has been, and will continue to be, a driving force in advocating for your patients, and for the safe wear and care of contact lenses. We stand committed to providing our unwavering support for you and your practice and for the development of new technology.

We are committed to our Unilateral Pricing Policy (UPP), which is intended to encourage eye care professionals to invest the time to learn about the company’s UPP products and educate consumers, to support the UPP products as innovative offerings, and to enable Bausch + Lomb to continue to provide excellent customer service related to those UPP products.

Bausch + Lomb is proud of its heritage of helping your patients see better to live better, including through the introduction of new products and by providing a variety of programs and tools that help you interact with patients and provide exceptional service. We continue to oppose any federal legislation that diminishes the pro-competitive intentions of the Fairness to Contact Lens Consumer Act (FCLCA) through our participation in the Coalition for Patient Vision Care Safety.

Our main priority is providing you with the innovative products and resources you need to better serve your patients. Thank you for your continued support, feedback and collaboration and we look forward to our ongoing partnership in the years ahead.

Should you have any questions or concerns on this topic, please do not hesitate to contact us at uppquestions@bausch.com.
