“A patient called disputing her co-pays, stating she had not even been to our office on the service date. Our front desk team reminded her that she saw her favorite OD, who she had been seeing for 10 years, and it was on that date. She was even offered a copy of her exam. She said she knew how computers worked, and we could make it show anything we wanted it to. We assured her that was the doctor’s chart and, no, we don’t change things. She kept insisting she was not here. Finally, our business manager told her we had cameras and could show her she was here. She said, ‘I know how cameras work, too.’ — Melanie J., Spring Hill, TN
