(PRESS RELEASE) HAUPPAUGE, NY — ClearVision has announced new appointments and additions to its national sales team.
Pamela Benson has been promoted from sales consultant to Regional sales director for the Southeast U.S and newest to ClearVision’s sales leadership is Sam Cerro, director of sales, National Accounts.
ClearVision congratulates the sales managers of the remaining regions who now proudly hold the title of Director of Regional Sales: Lesley Claveria (Latin America & the Caribbean), Jill Eldridge (South Central & West Coast U.S.), Steve Epstein (Northeast U.S.), and Charles Fegreus (Midwest & North Central, U.S.).
In a press release the company, which recently celebrated its 7th recognition as a Best Company to Work for in NY State, said, “With continued expansion in the U.S. and an unstoppable emphasis on innovation, these significant leadership positions will play a pivotal role in the strategic growth plans slated for 2022 and beyond”, said Jennifer Trakhtenberg, senior talent leader at ClearVision Optical.
Benson, who has worked as a sales consultant for the last 16 years in Indiana, assumed a regional sales director position for Southeast U.S. in January of this year. She was a long-standing member of the ClearVision President’s Council and has been recognized as Sales Consultant of the Year several times. Pam has brought valuable field insight to many new sales professionals as a trainer, instructing on how to effectively manage their business and deliver outstanding customer service. In addition to being a skilled mentor and coach to her team, Benson now supports ClearVision’s talent scouting process to bring new sales consultants onboard.
Cerro joined the CVO team in February of this year in a new position with an emphasis on expanding distribution to additional business channels. In this exciting leadership role, he will be helping ClearVision to develop and build sales opportunities in the non-IECP channel. Sam has tremendous optical industry experience and depth of expertise across product development, inventory planning, merchandising, and distribution strategies. With the depth of his eyecare marketplace understanding, Cerro uniquely provides insight on how to effectively design and position branded product. He brings his passion for establishing deals that expand relationships and help everyone to grow business favorably.
