ClearVision Optical and BluTech Provide Education and Solutions for ECPs During Pandemic

(PRESS RELEASE) – As the country continues to work and learn from home, and screen time is soaring, ClearVision Optical and BluTech have partnered to create new learning opportunities and launch a direct shipping program for ECPs to offer to their patients during the COVID- 19 pandemic.

The direct ship program, the first of its kind for ClearVision, allows ECPs to invite their patients to shop BluTech Eyewear on cvoptical.com from the comfort and safety of their homes. Patients can place an order for plano blue light blocking eyewear through their eyecare provider, and ClearVision will fulfill the order by shipping directly to the patient’s home. Upon reopening their business, ECPs can perform a final fitting for each pair of eyewear sold.

To support ECPs in their marketing efforts surrounding the program, ClearVision Optical and BluTech have created a complimentary library of marketing assets where ECPs can download imagery and captions to be used in emails or on social media. The program has been met with great success from the eyewear community, as eyecare providers have been able to generate revenue for their business while their office may be temporarily closed or only seeing emergency care patients.

BluTech has also launched an online educational course for those interested in furthering their education with the latest information about blue light and eye health. The four-part certification course can be accessed for free during the COVID-19 pandemic and has received a tremendous response from ClearVision’s network of ECPs across the country. The educational modules will provide eyecare providers with a blue light certification upon completion.
