IDOC Earns Second Consecutive Great Place to Work Certification

(PRESS RELEASE) NORWALK, CT — IDOC is to be Certified by Great Place to Work for the second year in a row. This prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at IDOC. This year, 89% of employees said IDOC is a great place to work, compared to the average U.S. company, where only 57% of employees are fully satisfied with their workplace environment. IDOC’s people-first culture drives employees’ sense of workplace fulfillment, with 98% saying they are made to feel welcome upon joining the company and 95% believing that management shows a sincere interest in their development as people, not just employees.

“At IDOC, our business decisions are shaped first and foremost by doing what is best for our people,” said Jill Johnson, vice president of Human Resources at IDOC. “We believe that by placing a high value on our people, they will in turn place a high value on the work they do, which translates to unmatched support for our members, brand innovation, improved levels of efficiency, greater member satisfaction, and ultimately growth for our company.”

Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of Global Recognition at Great Place to Work, notes that achieving Great Place to Work Certification does not come easily. “It takes ongoing dedication to the employee experience,” she said, adding that, “it’s the only official recognition determined by employees’ real-time reports of their company culture. Earning this designation means that IDOC is one of the best companies to work for in the country.”

Dave Brown, IDOC’s president and CEO, views the company’s most recent Great Place to Work Certification as a rewarding result of IDOC’s efforts to cultivate a workplace that emphasizes four Core Values: People First Always, Service At Our Core, Trusted Relationships, and Better Together. “This certification is a clear indication that our people at IDOC are committed to upholding our core values and doing meaningful work,” he said. “We have created a culture where our employees are engaged in delivering exceptional service to our members. They take great pride in collaborating, growing professionally, and championing the dreams of independent practice owners.”

IDOC continues to pursue a culture of excellence through ongoing efforts that foster team connection and collaboration in a remote environment. These include a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, team-building activities, regular staff lunches, educational learning tables, new hire meet-ups, and question-and-answer sessions that offer employees the opportunity to ask questions in an open and responsive environment.
