Dr. Chad Overman

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — 20/20NOW, the pioneer and innovator of ocular telehealth and tele-optometry, announced that Dr. Chad Overman has joined the organization.

Overman has extensive experience in optometry and the optical industry, including 12 years of private practice and leadership roles in corporate optometry at Walmart where he was director professional relations and led the doctor talent acquisition efforts for Walmart’s vision centers and pharmacies.

More recently, Overman has worked in consulting, focused on integrating emerging technology into optometry. He is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry.

Overman said, “My career mission has been simply to make the profession of Optometry better. The emergence of digital healthcare provides an opportunity for Optometrists to shape the future of our profession, which will benefit both providers and patients.”

Telehealth industry veteran and 20/20NOW CEO Chuck Scott said, “We’re delighted to have Dr. Chad join our team. He brings us tremendous experience and perspective on the future of Optometry.
