  • After a few slow months, our Timberland frames really ran out the door! They are a solid price-point, with a bit of style and color, but not over the top for our slightly timid men. We also had a surge in older guys buying American Optical “sunglass” styles and then using them for clear or photochromic lenses. It gave them the cool vintage looks, larger lens sizes, and creative temples they remember from their youth. Bayonet temples (Original Pilot) and cable temples (Hazemaster) were back to feeling as popular as mac n’ cheese. — Jen Heller, Pend Oreille Vision Care, Sandpoint, ID
  • Our men really love Blackfin so that was our biggest seller, and the women are digging La Petite Lunette Rouge or LPLR. — Nikki Griffin, EyeStyles Optical and Boutique, Oakdale, MN

  • Barton Perreira, Masunaga, Modo, and Akoni optical styles. — Jason Klepfisz, OD, Urban Eye Care Phoenix, AZ
  • Moscot opticals have been very strong to start the year for both men and women. We don’t do as many sunglasses in winter, but Salt is always a good seller for us. — Jordan Flitter, Paris West Optical, Baltimore, MD
  • Tom Ford and Betsy Johnson opticals and Kate Spade suns. — Cynthia Sayers, OD, EyeShop Optical Center, Lewis Center, OH
  • Lindberg, State, Modo, and Lafont glasses, Maui Jim suns, and American Optical in both. — Pablo E. Mercado, Highland Eye Boutique, Atlanta, GA
  • Michael Ryen glasses and Ray-Ban sunglasses. — Terri Brown, The Eye Site, Alva, OK

  • My biggest sales are from WestGroupe. Their Kliik petite line is the best! Luxottica Oakley suns. Hands down our number one sunglass. — Tammy Patton, East Bernstadt Eye Center, London, KY
  • Oakley glasses always do well, but the playful, unique coloring and designs in the Draper James line has made them a contender. For sun, people are coming back to the classic Ray-Ban styles. The Wayfarer and Aviator styles have done well. — Angel Miller, Cynthiana Vision Center, Cynthiana, KY
  • Nike glasses, for some reason, and Oakley suns. — Ben Thayil, OD, Lifetime Vision and Eye Care, Miami, FL

  • l.a. Eyeworks is our best optical line so far. It’s just SO fun and we are always excited about it. Moscot is always one of our best sunglass sales. It’s classic and can be worn by everyone. Each style is unisex and so easy. — Nancy Revis, Uber Optics, Petaluma, CA

We recently updated all our stock, and our patients are really draw to the bold designs and fun colors. — Whitney Head-Potter, Beatty Eyes Optometry, Missoula, MT
