Inspired by the stunning city in northern Italy renowned for its picturesque landscapes and rich history, The Merano by Leisure Society is an oversized eyewear style meticulously crafted from an 8mm thick cotton-based Japanese Zyl and titanium that is ion-plated in 12k White Gold, 18k Gold, 18k Rose Gold, or 24k Gold. PRICE: $825

A client purchased the Full Moon by Anna Karin Karlsson in both gold and white gold. We put an amber tinted lens with amber Transitions in the yellow gold frame to make it “sun coded” and a purple tinted lens with amethyst Transitions in the white gold frame to make it “moon coded.” They both look gorgeous and Cherry Optical did amazing getting the color just right. Recently, a father of the bride purchased the Merano by Leisure Society in black/18k gold. He hadn’t planned on spending a lot on sunglasses but when he put them on he knew they were special and something he could wear for the rest of his life to remember his daughter’s wedding. — Elena J., Nashua, NH
