DALLAS — Essilor of America has named a new senior vice president and chief financial officer and announced several other leadership changes.

Dori Abendschein previously served as CFO for North America and senior vice president with Schneider Electric, which is based in Andover, MA. Prior to Schneider Electric, she held senior-level finance positions with Brinks North America, British Telecom and Dell.

Abendschein will replace Kevin Rupp, who plans to retire.

To ensure a smooth transition and strong succession plan, Rupp will transition his responsibilities over the next two years, the company said. With Abendschein’s addition, Rupp will maintain responsibility for the legal, IT, I-Coat and Optisource teams, along with certain board positions, and will remain involved in key company initiatives.
