Essilor of America has acquired Opti-Port, a St. Louis-based group of 33 multi-office eyecare providers with more than 400 total offices around the country, Vision Monday reports. The article says that the deal – the terms of which were not disclosed – comes after Essilor’s recent acquisitions of three other independent eyecare groups: Vision Source (July, 2015), Professional Eyecare Resource Cooperative (November, 2015) and Infinity Vision Alliance (November, 2015).
