EyeMed Vision Care President Lukas Ruecker has been appointed to the board of directors for the National Association of Vision Care Plans.
As a board member, Ruecker will help define the NAVCP’s strategic direction, as well as help establish its position on industry issues and policy.

Before his current role as EyeMed president, Ruecker served four years with Luxottica as Senior Vice President of Strategy, then as Senior Vice President of North American Retail. Prior to that, he wasa corporate executive at Staples office products company.

Ruecker’s contributions at Luxottica and EyeMed also include serving as President of the board of directors for the company’s primary philanthropic engagement, OneSight.
