NEW YORK — Privé Revaux, which markets itself as “the affordable celebrity eyewear brand,” is expanding beyond traditional sunglasses into prescription eyewear.
With the goal of “making luxury eyewear attainable for the masses,” the company will offer grames with prescription lenses starting at $59.99.
Privé Revaux frames with prescription capabilities will be available online at PriveRevaux.com and at its brick-and-mortar retail locations and kiosks.
“It has always been our plan to offer affordable prescription lenses to our customers,” said David Schottenstein, founder of Privé Revaux. “It’s the next logical step in giving our customers the absolute best quality, service and price out there. Customers have been asking for this on a daily basis and this led us to move up our timeline for launch.”

To complement the prescription offering, Privé Revaux will offer online vision tests for $25 via Opternative. It will also launch The Philosopher Collection, a line of optical frames paying homage to history’s greatest minds – The Socrates, The Confucius, The Plato and others.
The company explains: “Each style is made with high-end materials including scratch-resistant and anti-blue light treated lenses, and extremely lightweight, flexible and durable Ultem frames.”
Along with Schottenstein, Privé Revaux’s team includes celebrity names such as Jamie Foxx, Hailee Steinfeld and Ashley Benson, as well as Vice President of Celebrity Relations Dave Osokow and Creative Directors Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. The brand launched in June 2017.
