Eighty-nine jobs will be lost as Visionworks closes an eyewear factory in DeWitt, NY.

The company stated that the closure was because of “loss of volume in our manufacturing network,” Syracuse.com reports.

The DeWitt plant suffers from “financial inefficiencies and physical limitations for expansion,” according to the company.

The closure is set for June.
