Ultra-modern features converge to create unique space.

Now here’s an architectural concept you don’t see every day in the eyewear retailing world. The C29 optometry shop in Chalkida, Greece enlisted an Athens-based architecture firm to convert an existing building into an eyewear store, and the magnificently modern result was profiled in Dezeen magazine with numerous photos. The design recalls that of an art gallery, showcasing mirrored furnishings, white surfaces and clean lines. “Similar to a gallery – where the clean design allows for the artwork to be emphasised – the aim was to create a space characterised by purity that would allow for the products of the store to be highlighted,” Pavlos Chatziangelidis, owner of the architecture firm, told Dezeen.
