Eyewear Startup Seeks to Open Showrooms in Additional Cities

Frameri, which makes glasses that allow the wearer to pop the lenses out and insert them into other frames, has its sights set on expansion outside its Cincinnati home.

At present, 28 eyecare retailers in 15 states are selling Frameri’s products, WCPO-TV reports.

But the company’s growth plans go beyond just getting independent ECPs to carry the eyewear. Frameri, which was founded in 2012, is in talks to open showrooms in other cities to complement the one it has in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati.

Dallas and Chicago are possibilities mentioned in the article.

Sam Pellerito recently took over as CEO of the company, WCPO reports. He replaced co-founder Konrad Billetz, who is now working with a North Carolina startup company in the solar power industry.
