In early 2021, as many offices opened back up and considered their best options for maintaining their practices during uncertain times, Dr. Matt Dixon, OD, of Advanced Eyecare Center in Perry, GA, and owner of InVision Medspa, mapped out a plan. “I asked myself, ‘What are my most important key performance indicators,’” he said. With the prescription data, the ECP can offer the patient meaningful, efficient, and understandable recommendations. “As a doctor, I would rather spend my time prescribing and treating, and not collecting data,” said Dr. Dixon. This extra time and opportunity for patient-ECP collaboration and conversation enhances the patient experience and builds loyalty.
