Gucci (Florence, Italy) is planning on shuffling its C-suite by promoting three of its executive employees, effective Sept. 1, according to Fashion Network.
Robert Triefus, who has been with Gucci for 15 years, will take over the role of Senior Executive VP, Corporate and Brand Strategy; he currently serves as Executive VP, Brand and Client Engagement.
Triefus’s current role of Executive VP, Brand and Client Engagement will be taken over by Susan Chokachi, who is currently the CEO of Gucci Americas and has been with the company for 24 years.
The role of CEO of Gucci Americas will be taken over by Federico Turconi, who has been with Gucci for about 10 years; currently he’s the Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer of Gucci Americas.
Prior to Gucci, Triefus spent 9 years as VP of Worldwide Communications for Giorgio Armani and joined Gucci as its Global Director of Marketing and Communications in 2008. Chokachi also previously worked for Giorgio Armani and joined Gucci in 1998. Turconi worked for Vivienne Westwood for three years before joining the Florence, Italy-based luxury retailer in 2011.
