Inbox Inbox: Letters From Our Readers for April …on the ‘Failure’ issue Published 6 years ago on May 28, 2019 By INVISION Staff Invision June 2019 Issue Share Tweet I loved that the most recent issue was dedicated to failure. Proof that taking a leap and failing is always better than not taking a risk. — Cynthia Sayers, OD, Eyeshop Optical Center, Lewis Center, OH Love the articles, all fun to read and something to learn from each one. Thanks for all you do for the optical/optometric industry to keep the info fun and relevant at the same time! — Deb Jaeger, Eye Center of the Dakotas, Bismarck, ND Failure is the way to realize your success. If you haven’t been at the bottom you’re not sure when you make it to the top! — Jennifer Leuzzi, Mill Creek Optical, Dansville, NY I always enjoy the covers. Bethany Cassar, Complete Eye Health, Holland, MI We’ve been working on our cash office and it’s been a crazy busy season there. I’ve got to catch up on surveys and the recent editions. Thanks for keeping the ball rolling…you guys continue to impress! — Blake Hutto, OD, Family Vision Care, Alma, GA Mom and pop stores have a difficult time competing with chain stores and the internet, but there are still some of us that pride ourselves on great customer service which separates us from the others. — Becki Martin, Harrington Vision Center II, Florence, SC I’ve worked in two polar opposite offices. One had 100+ appointments scheduled online per month, the other had “appointment requests” that the front desk had to call back to say weren’t available. I wonder why more offices don’t see the value in online scheduling? It’s so many less hours tied up on the phone! Carissa Dunphy. — Lake Stevens Vision Clinic, Lake Stevens, WA Related Topics: INVISION Staff Since launching in 2014, INVISION has won 35 international journalism awards for its publication and website, including the prestigious Neal Award for Best Single Issue in 2019.
