    • Love it! — Dawn Limauro, Lens Doctors, Dover, NH

    • As someone who is still new to optometry, I appreciate all the information that is given and all the articles that help me to understand more about our business. — Bryan Hartgrave, Vision Solutions, Lamar, MO

    • I’m still very optimistic about private practice optometry. We love doing the little extras, like INVISION shares, that help patients know how much we like and appreciate them. Hopefully there will always be a need/desire for this type of service. Not to mention, getting to know and become friends with your patients is the most fun anyway! — Kenneth D. Boltz, Od, Dublin, OH

    • I would like to get some feedback from other opticians about how they present products to patients such as anti-glare and Transitions. And how they answer patients who feel their lenses are better off without. — Caitlin Wicka, San Juan Eye Center, Montrose, CO

    • Love this magazine. — Sabina Krasnov, I2IOptique, Scottsdale, AZ

    • Keep doing what you’re doing! — Bridgett Fredrickson, Whelan Eye Care, Bemidji, MN

  • Owning an independent eyecare practice requires our small business to be nimble, and adjust to changing conditions. INVISION gives me ideas to implement from experts that are in the trenches! — Maury Kessler, OD, Eyecare Plus Scottsdale, Scottsdale, AZ
  • The 90 Days feature really inspired me. I have the habit of rushing to finish out the year and focus my goal setting for the next year. The article reminded me that we have 30/60/90 days to align our goals and focus on finishing strong for 2019. Goal setting with my team for the last quarter has also organically sparked some great ideas by my staff for 2020! — Angie Patteson, OD, Sunset Eye Care, PC, Johnson City, TN
  • As an independent optician, I am enjoying that this publication is keeping me up to date on an industry that is constantly changing. I am looking forward to seeing more positive changes in the future for the independent eyecare professional. — Robin Morrison, Optical Options, Ft. Myers, FL
  • I learn or see something new every month thanks to INVISION magazine. Whether it’s product-related, business-related, or marketing-related, it’s always great information. Is it bad that I have a notebook just to write down all of the info? — Ashley Henriott, Eyewear Unlimited, Niceville, FL
Editor’s Note: Absolutely not Ashley! Perhaps we should reward Brain Squad members with INVISION branded notebooks just to write down all the ideas they love?

Correction: In the November/December 2019 issue’s Better Vision Artificial Vision Aids story on page 30 we accidentally swapped the pictures of the Ocutrex Vision Technologies Oculens AR Wear headset and the Ocutech VES Falcon autofocus bioptic telescope. We regret the error.

  • I love it. I read it. I try to live it. — Jim Williams, Eye To Eye, Mexico, mo
  • At the 90 days out point, I pulled the trigger and dropped my lowest-reimbursing-terrible-lab Vision Plan. It’s scary to drop anything that adds to the bottom line, but as the year closes, my employees are giddy that they will no longer have to stay on hold with customer service for hours. I also reminded them that if we meet all of our practice goals, we will be closed for additional days (with pay!) during Christmas. — angie patteson, od, sunset eye care, johnson city, tn
  • 90 Days was a good article. — nicole heyduk, eye centers of northwest ohio, fremont, oh
  • I have borrowed one of the doctors’ copies on several occasions before she realizes it has arrived, and read every article cover to cover. She’s had to read through the notes and dog-eared pages; so, we just subscribed all of our optical staff to their very own copy of the magazine! Great, engaging content and ideas to keep us always thinking about what we can do better for our patients. Fabulous magazine! Thanks for taking the time to really focus on the optometric industry and the people that make it special. — deb jaeger, eye center of the dakotas, bismarck, nd
  • I just want to say that every month that INVISION magazine comes I’m so excited. It’s like getting the Sears catalog for Christmas every month. — julie uram, optical oasis, jupiter, fl
  • I find that the magazine is a fun read and I share it often with the staff for pearls. — sonja franklin, od, modern eyes, austin, tx
  • INVISION magazine is very informative. I have read every issue in the last year and have learned something new and fun in every one of them. — tammi thomas, lifetime eye care, lewiston, id
