ScribeEMR is unique in that it pairs each clinician with a dedicated, remote medical scribe who participate in every visit and enter the notes into the EMR, and in real-time in the provider’s charting style. Highly trained medical scribes focus exclusively on chart quality and accuracy, so providers can pay greater attention to their patients.

A physician in the study report stated, “I decided to try a virtual scribe, so I tried ScribeEMR. The revenue generation from having a scribe was a significant increase compared to not having a scribe because we had proper documentation. The service paid for itself.”

Another manager quoted in the report adds, “Looking at the big picture of virtual scribes in the medical world, I see that our patients aren’t pushing back on having the doctor dictate to a scribe in the room. In talking to patients afterwards, I see a higher level of satisfaction because patients feel like the physician is providing more face time to them instead of to the laptop. At the end of the day, scribes are where the industry will have to go.”

  • Better, more complete documentation
  • Improvements to billing, which can result in better revenue capture
