Don’t try too hard to earn a customer who will haunt you. Some people are just impossible to please, are chronic complainers, and will never be happy. Learn how to recognize them, then do your best to steer them to your competitor. When they tell you, “I’m very hard to please and no one ever gets it right,” don’t take that as a challenge. Take that as a warning. After being in business for myself for over 21 years, it’s a relief when those patients take a hint and walk back out the door.
