Lighthouse Guild Names Monica Traczik as Director of Manhattan GuildCare

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Lighthouse Guild announced the appointment of Monica Traczik as the new Director of GuildCare in Manhattan. GuildCare is Lighthouse Guild’s Adult Day Health Care program—the only one in New York State specifically designed for individuals with vision loss. With locations in Manhattan, Albany, and Buffalo, GuildCare provides vital services that promote health, independence, and quality of life.

As Director, Ms. Traczik will oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the Manhattan site. A seasoned healthcare administrator, she brings extensive leadership experience from her previous role as Director of Nursing at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in Manhattan. She has also served in key nursing leadership roles within NYC Health + Hospitals, including at Gotham Health Services and the North Bronx Healthcare Network.

Ms. Traczik holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business, a Master of Public Health from Boston University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Villanova University. She is affiliated with the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), the American Society for Quality (ASQ), and the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN), among other professional organizations.
