It will launch in May.

Luxury conglomerate LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton is planning a broad-based e-commerce site, the Financial Times reports.

The site is slated to launch in May. It will be called Le Bon Marché, which is the name of a department store that LVMH owns in France.

The site will sell all of LVMH’s brands plus those of other luxury-goods companies, according to the Financial Times.

Business of Fashion reports: “It is unclear if the new online iteration of Le Bon Marché will operate on a wholesale or marketplace model, although wholesale is the likely avenue.”

Among LVMH’s eyewear brands are Givenchy, Celine and Louis Vuitton.

The new e-commerce effort will put LVMH in competition with sites such as Farfetch, Net-A-Porter and Matchesfashion.com.
