Marcolin Group and Adidas have entered into a licensing agreement for the development, manufacture, marketing and sale of eyewear products under the Adidas Badge of Sport and Originals labels. Under the new agreement, effective until 2024, the first eyewear collections will hit the market beginning in 2020. Optometry’s Health Role
The American Optometric Association is highlighting a new report by Avalon Health Economics, Optometry’s Essential and Expanding Role in Healthcare, which details the benefits across the health care system of ODs practicing at the full extent of their training. Findings include: Expanded optometric scope of practice nationally would result in an annual savings of $4.6 billion; and 62 percent of Americans trust their OD to provide their eye health and vision care, statistically equivalent to the 64 percent who trust an ophthalmologist. avalonecon.com
