(PRESS RELEASE) GRAND RAPIDS, MI –  Michigan Optical, a full-service eyecare practice founded by Douglas E. Cramer, ABOC, NCLE, has partnered with Great Lakes Management Services Organization. Built on the dual foundation of opticianry and optometry, Michigan Optical has expanded three times since its establishment in 2006 to meet strong patient demand.

“Michigan Optical has been built on a foundation of repeat customers and referrals,” said Bill Hughson, CEO of Great Lakes MSO. “This is evidence of high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Great Lakes MSO is excited about partnering with their dedicated staff to help grow their business and exceed customers’ expectations.”

Michigan Optical provides a full line of eyecare services for the entire family, including comprehensive medically based eye exams, imaging services, and an extensive line of eyeglasses, contact lenses, and eye care products.

“Our decision to partner with Great Lakes MSO makes sense to sustain our continued growth. We’ll have direct access to services that will serve our patient base while continuing the personal care our patients have come to expect,” said Cramer, who will remain as an optician and location director. “Utilizing the efficiencies and administrative support of the MSO enables us to better focus our attention on the needs of our patients.”

Michigan Optical has over 2,000 frames to choose from, including Oakley, Tura, Proof, Hugo Boss, Vera Bradley, Ted Baker and Scott Harris. It also carries a full line of tactical eyewear for police, fire and EMS use – available with and without prescription lenses. Michigan Optical also excels in specialty contact lenses, including RGP, multifocal, keratoconus and others.
