(PRESS RELEASE) In celebration of World Sight Month, MODO Eyewear and Seva Foundation are working to establish Vision Centers in Nepal and India, with the mission of providing top-tier eye care to over a million people by 2025.
In a significant expansion of its philanthropic efforts, MODO Eyewear and Seva Foundation are supporting the establishment of 14 Vision Centers in Nepal and India. The project that started in 2022 will come to full fruition by 2025. These centers will provide over 1 million individuals with access to sustainable, high-quality and affordable eye care services, including comprehensive eye exams and follow-up care. MODO Eyewear’s support covers critical training, infrastructure and equipment for these centers, making eye care more accessible to underserved populations, especially women and children.
MODO’s long-standing commitment to eye health, which began with the successful Buy a Frame – Help a Child See program, has reached a new milestone as well. The achievement of 1.8 million children helped underscores MODO’s unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive eye care to those in need, positively impacting their lives by enabling them to return to the classroom with clear vision.
