Have a day when the goal is getting customers in the door to try on lots and lots of frames. Send exclusive invitations to small groups of customers and encourage them to bring as many different sets of clothes as they want. Have a makeup artist on hand. Offer snacks and drinks. Your aim is to show clients how the right combination — clothes, makeup and eyewear — can really transform them. Take pictures of customers in their favorite combinations, so even if they don’t purchase a certain frame that day, you can refer to the looks later. (Encourage sharing on social media, too.) Make Styling Saturday a tradition by holding it the same weekend every month, or even twice a month (once for women, once for men).
