Oakley’s ‘One Love’

Oakley unveiled a remake of Bob Marley’s One Love performed by US-born, British-Jamaican singer Celeste, with reworked verses co-written by Oakley Athletes, as part of the brand’s 2020 For the Love of Sport campaign. The remake preserves the original’s uplifting chorus and chords that inspired a generation and refreshes the verses. “Sport…was my Dad’s second love after music,” said son Ziggy Marley. “The world really needs love right now, and we’re thrilled to work with Oakley on this amazing reinterpretation of ‘One Love.'” oakley.com

Multifocal Contacts Slow Myopia in Kids

According to results from a three-year clinical trial, children wearing multifocal CLs had slower progression of myopia. The trial tested commercially available multifocal soft CLs versus standard soft lenses. After three years, kids in the high-add multifocal CL group had the slowest progression of myopia. Only the high-add power CLs produced meaningful slowing of eye growth. The Bifocal Lenses In Nearsighted Kids study is published in the Journal of the American Medical Association. invisionmag.com/092002
