The Vision Council offers marketing help.

National Sunglasses Day is less than a month away, and it’s now time to spread the message of UV protection — while also increasing your sales, The Vision Council told members in a note.

“It’s The Vision Council’s mission to see National Sunglasses Day promoted and celebrated everywhere eyewear is purchased – think large and small retail and convenience stores, mass merchandisers and drug chains, pharmacies, and eyecare provider offices across the country,” the organization stated.

The council is “arming you with the resources you need to help make the June 27 commemorative date a huge success.” Visit thevisioncouncil.org for details on how to get involved and how to access official National Sunglasses Day marketing collateral.

The Vision Council is asking members to share their National Sunglasses Day plans so its team can assist and promote the efforts. The Vision Council can provide members with additional materials, including UV research, infographics and sample social media posts.
