  • I live by work hard, play hard. — Susan E., Austin, TX
  • Your October article was great! I am in the flex generation (38) and the younger generations get a bad rap for having a better work/life balance when most of the time they are just setting healthy boundaries. — Rialeigh Y., Norfolk, VA
  • I find that structuring my week where I don’t feel it’s 100% work makes it feel like I’m not actually working. Being self-employed, I work in some capacity almost every day, but some days are less than others. It helps that I still enjoy and am passionate about what I do after over 35 years, so it doesn’t ever feel like a job. — Jordan F. Baltimore, MD
  • As I transition into a new chapter of my career, I love that I am not retiring, I am rewiring. I have committed 45 years to working for companies and people and now I work for people and my heart. — Karen M., Wyoming, MN
  • I really need to work on this for myself. So much of my imbalance is self-imposed. — Amy F., East Brunswick, NJ
  • One of my favorite regular tasks is to check my inbox for the Daily Tip from INVISION magazine. I look forward to the little snippets of advice that often prompt me to think about more commonplace situations in a different way, so I’ll feel more confident and prepared when these things do happen. — Kari K., Rock Hill, SC

CORRECTION:

In the October 2024 Better Vision (page 25) we incorrectly quoted Dr. Scott Keating. The BPI Deep Blue Zee tint is not for use with autism, as published. With movement disorders such as Parkinson’s, the BPI tint IR blue works well in helping with movement issues and the BPI Deep Blue Zee is also a nice sunglass tint option for help with Parkinson’s disease.
