Tommy Hilfiger, which is owned by PVH Corp. (NYSE: PVH), has announced the launch of special edition sunglasses designed in collaboration with supermodel Gigi Hadid.
The eyewear designs blend the brand’s classic East Coast heritage with Hadid’s West Coast twist, celebrating her modern, laidback style and the brand’s “classic American cool” heritage. The eyewear is part of the TommyXGigi collaborative collection – which includes women’s apparel, footwear, accessories and fragrance – and will be available in select Tommy Hilfiger stores, on tommy.com and at select opticians beginning fall 2016.
The exclusive sunglasses update the iconic aviator style with a twist. Crafted from acetate and metal, they feature the collection’s logo on both temples. The glasses are available in two styles: brown with brown-gray lenses and light gold-toned frames, and brown with pink lenses and copper-toned frames.
The TommyXGigi collection features seafaring staples, reimagined with clean cuts and fresh embellishments, from buttons and chevrons to naval badges, embroideries and sailor stripes.
Sporty-chic silhouettes are further modernized with feminine chiffons, cozy cable-knits and sleek leathers.
