New frames would make phones and watches obsolete.
Research and development gurus at Oakley are envisioning a future of “science fiction eyewear,” in which phone and watches are mounted on glasses. “I’m envisioning, in the not-too-far-future, that you’re not necessarily carrying a phone, you’re not necessarily carrying a watch, it’s all just eyewear-mounted,” said Ryan Calilung, Research and Design Engineer.
