(Press Release) Since Harvey tore through the greater Houston area, OneSight has been in constant contact with its local partners to understand how to best support those in need. As a result, OneSight will be supporting those impacted by Hurricane Harvey in the following ways:

  1. To best serve those with urgent vision needs, OneSight will send eyewear to independent eyecare providers and local LensCrafters stores.
  2. The Ready Set See challenge will be raising funds for six new vision centers in six countries at www.readysetsee.org. The funds raised for the US Vision Center will be dedicated to providing glasses to those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
  3. OneSight is also planning programming for the greater Houston area. OneSight believes clear sight will be a critical tool in rebuilding the lives and futures of those impacted by this disaster.

OneSight will continue to be in contact with its local partners to assess how it can best support them.

Independent eyecare providers with finishing labs can request frames by Sept. 7.

OneSight will provide up to 2,000 eyewear frames to independent eyecare providers serving those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Independent eyecare providers will be responsible for providing eye exams if needed and the fulfillment of eyewear to patients in need.

OneSight is inviting independent eyecare providers in need of frames to contact:
