Five minutes, no waiting.

A group of Chicago investors will back wide-scale tests this month for an on-line eye examination developed by a local optometrist that takes 5-10 minutes to complete on any home computer and costs the consumer $35. Steven Lee, who has been working on the system since 2009, has teamed with Aaron Dallek and others to launch Opternative Inc., which intends to “revolutionize the way eye care is delivered in the U.S. and across the globe,” says Dallek.
