Optometry Cares-The AOA Foundation Names Rebecca Hildebrand Director

(Press Release) Optometry Cares—The AOA Foundation has named Rebecca Hildebrand its director.

A native of St. Louis, Hildebrand brings nearly 10 years of nonprofit development experience and has been a leader with several local and regional nonprofit organizations.

She completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago, receiving her bachelor’s degree in social work and business.

Hildebrand went on to receive her Master of Social Work, Leadership & Development in Social Services, and her Certificate of Philanthropy and Non-Profit Management from Loyola University Chicago.

“I am honored to serve as director of Optometry Cares, which plays a vital role in expanding essential, sight-saving eye care to those in need,” said Hildebrand.

“I’m excited to continue working alongside our exceptional volunteers and board members to help individuals enjoy a lifetime of healthy vision.”

Jon Hymes, executive director of the AOA, commended Hildebrand on her professional talents.

“Since joining the AOA and Optometry Cares three years ago, Rebecca has energized the foundation’s outreach and, working closely with the Optometry Cares board members, and has become a driving force behind its important programs, strategic innovations and growth.”
