OWA Announces Champagne Breakfast Celebrating Women in Leadership

(PRESS RELEASE) DALLAS, TEXAS — The Optical Women’s Association (OWA) announces the return of its in-person Champagne Breakfast in New York City during Vision Expo East.

Sponsored by EssilorLuxottica, this event celebrates OWA’s 2022 award honorees: Pleiades Award recipient Erinn Morgan (Eyecare Business), Pyxis Award recipient Laura Dorris (HEA+PECAA), and Emerging Leader Award recipients Katie Lauver (GPN Technologies) and Dr. Jennifer Stewart (OD Perspectives). Each woman will be recognized for her involvement in both the OWA and the optical industry. The breakfast will be held at Gotham Hall on Thursday, March 31, from 7:30 – 9:00 am. The OWA will also host a special Career Zone event during Vision Expo East at the Student Lounge on Saturday, April 2, from 3:15 – 3:45 pm. All optometric students are invited to stop by to find out more about the OWA and enjoy a champagne toast!
